Honed / Matte Finish

The Honed finish on granite will not look as shiny as polished finish and will also lack the reflective nature seen on polished stones. Honed gives the stone smooth and gloomy finish. Honed finished headstones are also scratch-resistant since they are not glossy.

Leather Finish

The leather finish gives a unique aesthetic to the stone as well as a natural look to the stone although the texture is created by skilled specialists.
The little nooks and crannies formed also gives a unique worn-out feel to the leather surface an effect that is catching up with many. The texture is influenced by the type of stone and its color.

Sandblasted

Sandblasting of granite creates a rough texture to the surface, depending on your taste, a stone fabricator sandblasts it light or deep.
Sandblasting not only improves the look of the stone but also affect properties like, wet ability, and resistance as the headstones have to stand in the grave for decades without blemishes.

Flamed

Brushed

Brushing the surface of the stone with metal rotary brushes creates an antique finish to the stone surface, creating a bumpy look as the brushing disintegrates all the softer particles leaving a somewhat smooth finish to the surface.

Bush hammered

The process involves pounding the stone with a machine or small hand-held hammer depending on the type and the size of the stone resulting in a reasonably smooth surface with small craters and pits produced by the impact. The granite is one of the strongest occurring materials in nature, as we always do works with only top quality stones, they are good at taking all abuse when the headstone is bush hammered. The cost of bush hammering could be slightly more dear compared to Flamed and Waterjet finish since it involves manual hammering, which takes more time.

Chiseled

Considered as one of the oldest methods of completing a stone, as the name suggests, the stone is carefully chiseled with a small chisel. It will give the stone a dense rough and chipped influence to the surface. This is entirely done by hand and the end result is a classic look to your stone.
